Jennifer's critique workshop was a positive experience. Right at the outset, we were given a set of guidelines to refer to for our close reading of each others’ poems. These guidelines turned out to be valuable in examining my own writing. Throughout the sessions, edits were clearly (and gently) suggested. Jennifer Mills Kerr is a published poet and educator with 20+ years experience teaching writers how to refine their craft. With an MFA in creative writing, she blends a sharp, analytical eye with intuitive insight that gives poets a fresh approach to their material.
