Jennifer's critique workshop was a positive experience. Right at the outset, we were given a set of guidelines to refer to for our close reading of each others’ poems. These guidelines turned out to be valuable in examining my own writing. Throughout the sessions, edits were clearly (and gently) suggested. A supportive atmosphere was created and I came away feeling very nurtured.
